I started my career in hospitality like most 14-year olds, washing the dishes in a local pub as a KP. I continued working my way up through the ranks to waiter and eventually head barman alongside my studies at Godalming College.

After leaving College, I began a short-lived career in music while studying for my Degree at ACM in Guildford, all the while I continued to work in the bars and clubs around the area. I then took a couple of years off to tour in a rock band across England (like a proper Rockstar), working as a barman and a kitchen assistant whenever I was home.

After returning home and seeing sense, I got my first full time role as a Commis Chef in a pub close to home, I then stayed in the kitchen for the next 10 years, working in a variety of kitchens from Gastro pubs to private members clubs, working my way up the ladder, whilst taking my NVQs in professional cookery while I worked.

I started my career with Appetite4work almost 3 years ago, with 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry under my belt, I’m very proud to say that 3 years on we have grown leaps and bounds and now look after an expanding team of fantastic consultants working with some of the biggest and most prestigious events across Surrey and Hampshire.
