Appetite 4 work

Rosalie Perl

(Business Support And Compliance Manager)

My first ever job was a paper-round when I was 12 years old, getting my first hospitality job when I was 14 working as a waitress. I worked as a waitress, ice cream attendant and even at my local chippy on the fryers until I was 18. When I turned 18, I started bartending and went off to Brighton University to study International Hospitality Management.

Whilst there, I started working as a bartender at one of the best known pubs in Eastbourne being promoted to supervisor then onto Duty Manager in my three years there and ended up working there full time during my Summer Breaks and staying on when I graduated. When I eventually decided to move home back to Essex, I worked for a few months as a cocktail bartender before finding Appetite4Work were looking for a Staffing and Recruitment Co-Ordinator at the beginning of 2017… and I have been here ever since! After spending just over a year in recruitment, I am now in the role of Business Support and Compliance Manager helping to ensure things behind the scenes are running smoothly and enjoy watching the company grow each year and interacting with our fantastic staff and clients on a daily basis.
